2021 CBBC REGISTRATIONS

 

Registrations cannot be done on this website but are done via the correct registration link - see below for details.

 

RETURNING 2020 CBBC PLAYERS:

2020 City Beach teams will be issued with a unique code so that players can register straight into their team.

If your team is not continuing or wishes to combine with another team in 2021 please email Registrar@citybeachbasketball.org ASAP.

Players wishing to change teams please email PRIOR to the priority registration period IF you know the team you wish to join

or DURING the priority registration period if you do not have a team to move to.

NOTE: Teams with less than 5 returning players registered by the end of the priority registration period will be folded or combined with other teams short of players.  

Priority Registration Period:  Monday 25th January - Monday 8th February 2021. 

You must register by this date to secure your spot. Latecomers will have to join the waiting list.  

Registration is via the registration email which will be sent to all 2020 CB players by Monday 25th January.  

Please check your email and junkmail inboxes as the email. If you can't find it please email Registrar@citybeachbasketball.org  ASAP.  KidSport applicants please email before attempting to register as you require a different link.

 

NEW PLAYERS: Waiting List opens Thursday 21st January, 2021

New players and previous members who did not play in 2020 must join the CBBC Waiting List at the link below.

You will be notified via email ASAP, but likely after 10th February if a place in a team is available and if so will be sent a link to register. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

2021 FEES     

 

Total fees payable for 2020 season are $335*.

CBBC fees have not increased for 2021. The $5 fee increase from 2020 is due to an increase by BWA in their annual registration fee to $35. This fee is charged yearly and may not be yet payable at registration. In such cases BWA will invoice players separately when the fee becomes payable.

BWA Registration Fee: $35

CBBC Registration fee: $150* (U8 - $80 - TBC)

Perry Lakes Hawks Season fee:  $150 

PLEASE NOTE: Discounts for mid-season registration will apply.

*COVID-19 CREDIT FROM 2020

Most 2020 CB players will have a $20 fee credit available to them due to the shortened 2020 season.  

In 2021 CBBC will be introducing club specific playing shorts which will become required uniform.  It is proposed that this credit will be used to help pay for the playing shorts.  Players who received the discount off their fees in 2020 will be required to purchase their shorts in full.

Registrations are not accepted without fee payment.

Should you be unable to pay in full at registration time please email Registrar@citybeachbasketball.org prior to registering.

 

KidSport: CBBC is a registered KidSport Club (for Healthcard holders and other eligible families). Eligible applicants must contact their local council to apply for a $150 KidSport voucher. Successful applicants need to forward their voucher code number to Registrar@citybeachbasketball.org and a separate registration link will then be sent.  For more information on KidSport go to DSR - KidSport Info.  NEW PLAYERS should not apply for KidSport funding until an invitation to register email has been received.

 

REFUNDS

The BWA fee is non-refundable except under exceptional circumstances.

CBBC fee refund enquiries should be addressed via email to President@citybeachbasketball.org

There is a minimum non-refundable portion of CBBC fees of $10.

Pro-rata season fee refunds will apply where withdrawal is unavoidable (eg injury) or if the vacancy is filled.

If you have registered with City Beach but wish to transfer to another club please email us BEFORE registering with the other club to organise a fee transfer and avoid extra costs.

 

Below is the Perry Lakes Hawks Refund Policy:

Any player that registers and withdraws prior to the end of  Week 5 will be entitled to a refund of the Hawks membership fee.  Hawks will refund cost less: 

  • 10% for withdrawals prior to the season commencing 

  • 30% for withdrawal during the grading process

  • 50% for withdrawal before the end of week 5

Any player requiring a refund will need to send an email to the Hawks office stating: Name, Club and reason for refund. Refunds during the season (once competition has commenced) will only be considered under the following circumstances : season ending injury/illness or transfers interstate or overseas. This will be done upon consultation with the relevant Club. Once the refund is approved we will seek banking details to allow a funds transfer for the refund.
